About the Sanctuary
The Sanctuary of the Crossroads is a religious association dedicated to Hekate, the ancient greek goddess of the crossroads. Our organisation is focused on advancing the revival of ancient greek religion through Hekatean devotion, providing education to curious and experienced minds, offering spiritual services, and connecting members of our wider community in a space that is inclusive, academically-driven, and accessible.
Lived experiences are just as important to us as historical and archaeological sources of information. Just like our liminal goddess, we exist in the liminal space between reconstructionism and revivalism.
Our team is made up of dedicated worshippers of Hekate and the Theoi, as well as devotees of other faiths and pantheons, who volunteer their time to maintain our platforms, connect with others, and honour the gods.
The Sanctuary welcomes members regardless of identity, background, or ability. We do not tolerate bigotry, discrimination, or appropriation, and have signed the Xenia Declaration.
